This role is ideal for someone who understands construction lending, enjoys working in a detail-driven environment, and can effectively coordinate between borrowers, contractors, inspectors, and internal teams.

This position sits at the intersection of credit, operations, and project execution and is critical to ensuring projects are properly reviewed, structured, and administered throughout the life of the loan.

      Key Responsibilities

      • Assist with risk identification related to project costs and scope
      • Ensure documentation aligns with company construction lending guidelines

      Post-Closing Responsibilities
      • Process construction loan draws according to company procedures
      • Coordinate with borrowers, builders, inspectors, and vendors on draw requests
      • Review draw documentation for completeness and compliance
      • Help resolve construction-related questions or issues throughout the loan lifecycle
      • Track project progress and communicate status updates internally
      • Support departmental initiatives and operational improvements

      Qualifications
      • Minimum 3+ years of experience in construction loan administration, draw processing, or construction risk review
      • Experience reviewing contractor documents, project budgets, and construction plans
      • Familiarity with construction loan servicing or disbursement systems preferred
      • Understanding of construction documentation and contract structures
      • Strong organizational and analytical skills
      • Strong conflict resolution and problem-solving abilities
      • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
      • Strong written and verbal communication skills
      • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and loan systems
      • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively

The strongest candidates for this role tend to be detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple moving parts. Success comes from the ability to anticipate issues, communicate clearly with stakeholders, and maintain strong organization while managing construction timelines and draw processes.
