What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead utility-scale solar or battery energy storage projects from acquisition through execution and close-out
- Ensure compliance with environmental safety standards and company culture values
- Document and communicate project progress, performance, and issues to all stakeholders
- Manage project budget, cost, forecast, and schedule while integrating resources and deliverables
- Conduct risk management planning and oversee procurement activities for project needs
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of five years of experience in the construction industry with knowledge of construction techniques, estimating, and management
- Experience in project management on utility-scale renewable projects such as solar or wind
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, Primavera, and construction software
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, contracts, and governmental regulations
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with large-scale construction projects, particularly with heavy general contractors
- Strong presentation skills for effectively communicating with various stakeholders
- Familiarity with PWA (Prevailing Wage & Apprenticeship) compliance processes
- Experience in coaching and mentoring apprentices within the construction field
- Knowledge of advanced project management methodologies and tools
