What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide professional expertise to franchisees and area representatives on general contractor bid qualification and construction quality expectations
- Successfully initiate, plan, execute, and close all project deliverables as committed
- Prepare, publish, and communicate weekly updates on project progress through designated software
- Supervise general contractors to ensure required qualifications are met and maintained
- Maintain a list of project costs and provide regular updates to the development team on projected vs. actual costs for new store development
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related discipline preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of retail construction management experience in commercial construction as an Owner's Representative or general contractor
- Proven experience managing ground-up or tenant improvement construction projects
- Ability to track overall project budgets and timelines
- Strong communication skills to understand sub-trades and jurisdictional requirements
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Certification in PMP, PE, AIA, LEED, or CMAA
- Experience with critical questioning techniques to drive actionable outcomes
