  Your Mission

  You are actively shaping the energy transition by enabling the wide adoption of battery technology with our clients in Germany and all over the world. You are collaborating with Accenture experts from Industry X and Strategy & Business Consulting to manage the battery energy storage business, improve our professional service offerings, and acquire and lead industry projects. Through technical expertise, project-proven methodology and access to Accenture’s capability network, you empower energy & utility clients to deal with the battery industry challenges from battery market and development trends, techno-economic storage analyses, procurement support and business strategy. You stay ahead by keeping up with technical and market advancements, facing the clients and their challenges, while enjoying an entrepreneurial environment with plenty of career growth opportunities.

  What you can expect

  • Business development

    You acquire new clients and projects in the new energy value chain, mainly focused on large accounts in the ASG (Austria, Switzerland, Germany) market unit. You stay up to date with the latest advancements in battery technology & innovation, industry trends, and regulatory standards to ensure compliance and technological advancements.

  • Project management

    You seek opportunities, develop, initiate and deliver projects for the clients in the energy and battery value chain, mainly focused on Germany and Europe.

  • Portfolio development

    Your expertise skills and network strengthen the energy storage solutions (ESS) team while collaborating with other cross-functional groups. You conduct research and develop internal database & services around battery ESS topics such as vertical business integration strategies, technical procurement, and data-driven optimization of asset utilization.

  What we are looking forward to

  • Master or Diploma degree in technical and/or economical major relevant for the battery industry, for example: electrical engineering, renewable energies, physics, chemistry, material science, or related fields. Doctorate and/or MBA is a plus.

  • Experience: starting at either 3+ years working on battery topics at an energy or utility company or external service company (e.g. in consulting), or 6+ years working with battery technology in academia, R&D or other battery value chain segments

  • Expert knowledge of general battery technology from energy system perspective, along with familiarity on more specific expertise in battery chemistry, manufacturing, product development, supply chain, logistics, regulations, and data management

  • Outstanding communication skills, strong analytical and conceptual abilities, and the flexibility to travel temporarily/work at customer site.

  • Business fluent command in German and English.
