Job Description
We are looking for an accomplished Risk & Compliance Consulting professional to join our Industry Advisory Group. The ideal candidate will bring deep domain experience in Risk Management and Compliance, a decent grasp of technology and AI, and a proven ability to deliver transformational solutions for clients in Banking, Capital Markets, or Insurance. This is a leadership role for someone who can shape strategy, drive execution, and build lasting client relationships in a fast-paced consulting environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership & Practice Development
• Lead and grow the Risk & Compliance practice with a strong focus on regulated industries (Banking, Capital Markets, Insurance).
• Drive the development of innovative service offerings leveraging AI, ML, and advanced analytics to solve real-world regulatory and compliance challenges.
• Design and refine go-to-market strategies and build thought leadership in the space of AI-enabled governance, risk, and compliance (GRC).
Client Engagement & Delivery Excellence
• Serve as the primary advisor to C-level executives and senior stakeholders, providing insights on emerging regulatory trends, compliance transformations, and operational risk models.
• Lead large-scale transformation programs across enterprise risk management, financial crime compliance, conduct risk, operational resilience, and regulatory reporting.
• Own end-to-end engagement delivery, including scoping, solution design, execution oversight, stakeholder management, and value realization.
Technology & Innovation Integration
• Partner with technology teams to conceptualize and deploy solutions for process automation, regulatory reporting, model risk management, and real-time monitoring.
• Translate business needs into data-driven use cases that improve compliance effectiveness and reduce risk.
• Evaluate and integrate third-party RegTech/FinTech platforms to expand the consulting toolkit.
People Development & Collaboration
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing consulting team; create a culture of learning, innovation, and accountability.
• Collaborate across practices (e.g., Technology, Data Science, Cybersecurity) to deliver integrated solutions.
• Represent the firm at industry events, client forums, and contribute to thought leadership through whitepapers, articles, and speaking engagements.
Qualifications:
• 13–15 years of relevant experience in Risk Management and Compliance in the BFSI sector.
• Prior experience at a global bank, capital markets firm, insurance company, or leading consulting organization.
• Deep understanding of regulatory frameworks such as Basel III/IV, DORA, Solvency II, IFRS 17, AML/KYC, CCAR, ICAAP, GDPR, etc.
• Proven abil ity to leverage AI/ML, NLP, automation, or advanced analytics for transforming GRC and risk processes.
• Exceptional stakeholder management skills; able to influence across senior levels.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to link risk to strategy and value creation.
Nice to Have:
• Exposure to digital tools such as GRC platforms, RegTech APIs, cloud-native risk platforms.
• Familiarity with frameworks like COSO, ISO 31000, NIST, or COBIT.
• Certifications: FRM, CAMS, CISA, or relevant compliance certifications.
