What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Communicate with adjusters and policyholders to acknowledge receipt of claims and explain the Content Inventory Specialist role
- Complete physical inventory of contents affected by the loss and apply appropriate methodologies
- Manage claim load independently to ensure timely turnaround and closure of all claims
- Maintain detailed work logs and notes in the employer's Claims System/Web-application
- Uphold the employer's brand, image, and reputation while adhering to the Crawford Code of Business Conduct
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and handle challenging situations
- Minimum of 6 months work experience in a related field
- Secondary (High School) Diploma; strong computer skills (MS Office/Outlook/Excel)
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in claims management or a related industry
- Familiarity with remote work environments and requirements
- Ability to provide a reliable personal vehicle and valid driver's license
- Experience in customer service or client-facing roles
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with clients and colleagues
