What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Assist in maintaining a custom-built fleet of vehicles, including performing basic maintenance and reconfiguring crates
- Sanitize and disinfect vehicles and crates according to detailed Standard Operating Procedures
- Conduct vehicle audits and maintain an extensive inventory of supplies and equipment
- Complete administrative tasks accurately and on-time, including forms and reports
- Drive vehicles in compliance with all laws and ASPCA policies, including transporting animals and equipment
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma required
- Minimum of 1 year of work experience required
- Ability to work collaboratively with team members and represent the organization professionally
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow complex directions
- Capability to lift, carry, and move up to 50 pounds repeatedly
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience working or volunteering in an animal shelter, veterinary clinic, or animal control facility
- Familiarity with using database software and mobile applications
- Valid driver's license with a safe driving history
- Ability to obtain a Department of Transportation Medical Certificate
