LSG Sky Chefs, the world's leading airline catering and hospitality provider, has been voted “Airline Caterer of the Year in North America” for three consecutive years (2023, 2024, and 2025). We are proud to serve the world's top airlines by combining operational excellence, culinary creativity, and a relentless drive for innovation. Now, we're looking for a Lean Continuous Improvement Manager to join our San Francisco Hub supporting United Airlines and lead transformation at scale.

      About the Role

As the Lean Continuous Improvement Manager, you will be the key architect of operational excellence across our San Francisco Customer Service Center (CSC). You'll work directly with senior leadership to implement lean methodologies, streamline production systems, and embed a culture of continuous improvement. From leading Kaizen events to mentoring managers and front-line teams, you'll play a pivotal role in enhancing performance in quality, service, safety, and cost efficiency.

This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence large-scale change in a 24/7 operational environment and fast-track your impact in a global organization.

      What You'll Do

      • Lead lean and continuous improvement initiatives across the CSC in partnership with management
      • Drive implementation of the LSG Production System, aligned with regional and global standards
      • Facilitate training and workshops on lean tools and techniques (e.g., Kaizen, 5S, root cause analysis)
      • Support the execution of the Regional Operational Excellence Strategy
      • Identify cost-saving opportunities, reduce waste, and increase productivity across departments
      • Track and report on key KPIs including quality, service delivery, and cost efficiency
      • Build strong cross-functional collaboration and knowledge sharing across CSCs

      What You Bring

      • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Process Engineering, or equivalent experience
      • 5–7 years of experience leading lean implementation in manufacturing or similar fast-paced environments (e.g., automotive, food production)
      • Deep understanding of lean principles (Toyota Production System preferred)
      • Proven success in driving measurable change and delivering results
      • Effective facilitator and communicator, with experience coaching diverse teams
      • Strong data analysis, problem-solving, and change management skills
      • Six Sigma certification (Green Belt, Black Belt, or Lean Master) highly preferred
      • Comfortable working flexible schedules to support a 24/7 operation

      Why Join LSG Sky Chefs?

      • Impact: Shape the future of airline catering operations at one of our busiest hubs.
      • Career Growth: This is a highly visible, strategic role with a clear path to broader leadership opportunities.
      • Global Reach: Join a company with operations in over 50 countries and unmatched industry leadership.
      • Competitive Compensation: Includes a base salary and eligibility for an annual incentive bonus (target: 10% of base).
      • Full Benefits from Day One: Medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with company match, paid time off, and more—no waiting period.
