What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop, negotiate, and oversee a variety of agreements, including service, provider, and vendor contracts
- Draft, review, and negotiate contract language and rates while ensuring compliance with relevant laws and organizational policies
- Collaborate with legal, finance, and compliance teams to mitigate risks and secure favorable contract terms
- Monitor contract performance, compliance, and renewal dates, maintaining a comprehensive contract management system
- Act as a primary contact for external partners on contract matters and provide administrative support to designated management staff
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in a high-level administrative support position
- At least 2 years of experience in a medical group, health plan, hospital, or related healthcare organization
- In-depth knowledge of healthcare regulations, including HIPAA, Stark Law, and Anti-Kickback Statute
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Law, or a related field
- Proven track record of successful contract negotiation and administration
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Master's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Law, or a related field
- 8+ years of experience in a high-level administrative support position
- 4+ years of experience in a medical group, health plan, hospital, or related healthcare organization
