What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage the IT contract life cycle, including amendments, changes, modifications, and enforcement of performance clauses
- Serve as the primary contact and subject-matter expert for contract-related activities involving IT services, hardware, and software
- Negotiate contract terms, conditions, modifications, incentives, and remedies while collaborating with key stakeholders
- Oversee the contract execution process, resolving problems, mitigating delays, and assisting with audits and disputes
- Coordinate with Procurement and stakeholders to secure favorable financial terms and conditions from vendors
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of five years of experience in Contract Management or Paralegal Work, specifically with IT service agreements
- Proven experience in negotiating and managing contract life cycles
- Strong understanding of IT contract negotiation tactics and strategies
- Ability to assess contractual and financial exposure and negotiate effectively
- Excellent communication skills for bridging IT and business organizations
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Knowledge of contracting trends, licensing models, and vendor performance models
- Strong project and process management skills for managing multiple vendors and contracts
- Ability to identify contract risks and develop strategies for risk mitigation
