What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage contract documents and ensure compliance with federal procurement regulations
- Analyze contract terms and conditions while providing recommendations regarding potential risks and opportunities
- Support business development efforts by participating in proposal preparation and submission processes
- Track contract performance and ensure timely submission of deliverables and reports
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project and contract obligations
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in contract administration and proposal support for a federal government contractor
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or a related field
- Excellent understanding of federal government procurement processes and regulations (FAR, DFAR)
- Proficient in analyzing contract terms and maintaining contract documentation
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to manage complex issues effectively
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Certification from the National Contract Management Association (e.g., Certified Professional Contract Manager, Certified Federal Contract Manager)
- Experience with various federal government contract types (IDIQ, FFP, T&M, CPFF)
- Previous involvement in proposal writing and compliance reviews
- Familiarity with tools like Microsoft Office Suite for data analysis and reporting
- Background in supporting pipeline development efforts and identifying strategic bid opportunities
