      About the team you are joining

      IATA Events provide organizations active in air transport with an essential arena for insight, discussion and cooperation on industry-related issues. Your will join the IATA Event Operations team as Coordinator Event Operations and therefore work in a fast pace, multi-disciplinary and diverse environment. If you have excellent organizational and communication skills, a high-level of initiative and strong cultural awareness, enjoy engaging with internal and external stakeholders and are interested in events and in the air transport industry, we strongly encourage you to apply to this position. You will report to the Senior Manager Event Operations, and will be supporting the administration, operations and logistics of the annual global IATA events.

      What your day would be like

      • You will start your day by checking Monday.com for updates and priorities, ensuring all delegated tasks are on track.
      • You will set up, test, and manage event apps in CVENT
      • You will coordinate with event speakers: coordinate legal briefings, follow up on pending tasks, manage registrations in the speaker portal, and respond to speaker queries.
      • You will prepare and issue visa letters for event delegates.
      • You will perform compliance checks in Salesforce to ensure adherence to sanctioned country regulations.
      • You will review and manually approve registrations for by-invite-only events.
      • You will update event programs on iata.org and keep stakeholders informed with accurate details.
      • You will generate and manage Power BI reports for internal teams and senior management.
      • You will process agency SOWs in LCP and SAP.
      • You will support events remotely.
      • You will support the Event Managers with the post-event reconciliation, making sure all data and reports are complete and accurate.

      We would love to hear from you if

      You are available immediately

      You hold a university degree in a related field (marketing, event management, business) and you have 1-2 years of experience in a related field

      You master MS Office (Excel, Word, PPT, etc.), and you have ideally knowledge of SAP, Adobe - Creative Suite and HTML/SharePoint

      You can prioritize multiple projects, are highly organizational and can take care of detailed administrative tasks

      You easily adapt to workload and work under pressure with proactivity, positive mindset and problem-solving attitude

      You have excellent English writing skills and good attention to details

      Experience working with CVENT and Salesforce is a plus.
