What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Oversee the operations and maintenance of health, kinesiology, and sport laboratories
- Collaborate with faculty and staff to enhance laboratory programs and resources
- Assist in the development and implementation of laboratory policies and procedures
- Provide training and support for students and staff using laboratory facilities
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices in laboratory settings
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences, Kinesiology, or a related field
- Experience in laboratory management or coordination
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with faculty, staff, and students
- Knowledge of safety regulations in laboratory environments
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Master’s degree in Health Sciences, Kinesiology, or a related field
- Prior experience in an academic or research laboratory setting
- Familiarity with grant writing or research funding processes
- Experience in curriculum development related to health or kinesiology
- Proficiency with laboratory equipment and technology
