- Maintains a recruitment portfolio and stewards all phases of the recruitment process.
- Cultivates relationships and maintains ongoing contact with key prospective applicants.
- Identifies market trends and supports the development of recruitment marketing materials.
- Utilizes innovative solutions to collect data, analyze findings, and prepare reports to guide recruitment efforts.
- Develops and implements effective recruitment strategies; analyzes results and makes recommendations as needed.
- Identifies optimum recruiting opportunities and represents the District at key recruitment events.
- Follows District safety protocols and emergency procedures.
- Ensures compliance with Local, State and Federal employment laws.
- Participates in collaborative work as needed, especially during high-volume time periods.
- Candidate Profiling: Based on recruiting demands, the TAD Coordinator analyzes profiles of potential candidates and identifying the most relevant candidate profiles to optimize the recruitment process.
- Hiring Metrics Tracking: The TAD Coordinator tracks hiring metrics, including time-to-hire, time-to-fill, and source of hire. This data helps improve recruitment efficiency.
- Candidate Experience Management: The TAD Coordinator will design, distribute, and measure the results of candidate experience surveys. Ensuring a positive candidate experience is essential for attracting top talent.
- Interview Support: The TAD Coordinator advises hiring managers on interviewing techniques and assessment methods. They may also participate in interviews or job fairs.
- Follow-Up: Throughout the hiring process, the TAD Coordinator follows up with candidates, providing updates and maintaining communication.
- Processes teacher applications and verifies certification with the Texas State Board of Educator Certification (SBEC), universities, colleges, and education agencies in other states.
- Assists District personnel in identifying appropriate certification requirements for teacher assignments according to SBEC assignment criteria.
- Tracks certification, testing, and permit status and follows-up with candidates to ensure completion of certification requirements within established timelines.
- Processes SBEC permit applications and monitors permit status.
- Works collaboratively with external partners on teacher residency programs.
- Implements legally sound and effective human capital management programs, policies, and practices that achieve District and divisional goals.
- Compiles, maintains, and files all reports, records, and other documents as required including maintaining a database of certification and licensing information for certified or licensed professionals, paraprofessionals, and auxiliary employees.
- Prepares correspondence, forms, and reports according to district standards and requirements.

Position Purpose
The Talent Acquisition and Development Coordinator contributes to efficient and effective talent acquisition by leveraging data, optimizing processes, and ensuring a positive candidate experience. Administers the District’s recruitment program to ensure selection and placement of qualified personnel; facilitates the District’s application and screening process; and interacts with administrators and hiring managers to monitor staffing needs.
