      SUMMARY

      The Brooklyn Nets Partnership Development team is comprised of goal-driven, high motor professionals passionate about driving value through group events to companies, organizations, and individuals in the tristate area.       The Partnership Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Partnership Development Sales Department in executing all new strategic partnerships. The Partnership Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the sales team during initial outreach, proposals and P&L statements, ongoing industry research, acting as a liaison for interdepartmental communication across the company and overseeing admin duties of the department. The Sales Coordinator must be professional, team focused, maintain a positive demeanor and be able to think on their feet.

      The Partnership Coordinator will be required to exercise sound judgment regarding confidential matters during the course of day to day interactions. The individual should always be five steps ahead, thinking proactively and suggesting new ways to contribute while maintaining a positive demeanor.       WHAT YOU WILL DO:

      • Provide weekly industry updates to the Partnership Development team regarding trends, key category news updates and new potential partnership leads.
      • Be responsible for supporting accounts in the partnership development pipeline.
      • Assist the sales team on CRM processes and creating efficiencies.
      • Aid in the brainstorming of partnership marketing strategies including unique activations, community tie in, etc.
      • Collaborate with the Partnership Operations and Insights team on pulling data and analytics for key category partnership pitches, updates on inventory assets that are available and asset analytics.
      • Collaborate with the department to ensure that inventory elements are accurately incorporated into sponsorship packages.
      • Research new opportunities to grow each corporate partner by keeping up to date with goals, objectives, and the competitive landscape of the market;
      • Expected to attend Brooklyn Nets home games and assist the department in hosting sponsors and be responsible for in-arena promotions.
      • Lead Microsoft Outlook calendars (scheduling both internal and external meetings) according to those business priorities.
      • Coordinate and prepare all collateral for meetings.
      • Prepare all outgoing correspondence to include email messages, etc.
      • Perform sophisticated and confidential administrative responsibilities.
      • Handle special requests for clients, which may include game tickets, tickets to other events, merchandise, gifts, etc.
      • Perform all other duties as assigned.

      WHO YOU ARE:

      • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
      • 2 or more years of experience in either research, analytics, marketing, partnership marketing, sponsorship, corporate sales and/or client development required.
      • Confident, resilient, and possess a high level of energy and passion.
      • Outstanding customer service, excellent communication skills and problem-solving skills
      • Strong organization skills with an ability to handle one’s own time and prioritize tasks when given clearly defined goals and objectives
      • Very dynamic, forward-thinking, highly analytical and organized.
      • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook), Salesforce experience is a plus.
      • Solutions-orientated and resourceful.
      • Comfortable with engaging in a variety of different communicative modes (verbal, non-verbal, and written) and being attuned to others through strong active listening skills.
      • Must have good decision-making skills, express proven judgment and interpersonal effectiveness.
      • A flexible and reliable teammate, both within the department and company.
      • Have a strong command of reasoned, measured decision-making based upon analyzing the pros and cons of each potential decision to be made.

      SALARY RANGE:

      $55,000-$68,000

      WORK ENVIRONMENT:

      The Partnership Coordinator will spend the majority of their time at Corporate Headquarters but will be expected to attend Brooklyn Nets games at Barclays Center, as well as other events that may take place on weekends and/or holidays. For clarity, this is an in-person role as the majority of workdays are in office.
