      OPPORTUNITY

      Looking for an internship that satisfies your creative flair and passion for digital content? We have a unique joint internship experience with the copywriting and web development teams, where you’ll help write and build compelling content for QVC shoppers.

      WHO WE ARE

      Our teams write and create content in support of QVC's multichannel platforms (web, social, email, etc.) in an effort to maximize sales and support corporate initiatives.

      YOUR IMPACT

      • Create promotional content for multiple platforms, including homepage, site promotions, social platforms, and email campaigns
      • User-interface website navigational instruction
      • Works closely with our creative and ecommerce teams to clarify copy direction, leverage platform presentation capabilities to optimize promotional content
      • Builds digital content for web, and mobile apps with 100% accuracy based on business team direction
      • Stages digital content for testing and migrates them into the production environment through standardized processes
      • Assists in testing of new features and functionality on an ad hoc basis
      • Pays extraordinary attention to detail to guarantee a flawless customer experience
      • Works in multiple environments including web-based CMS, HTML, and custom development environments
      • Other business-related duties as assigned

      WHAT YOU BRING

      • Must currently be enrolled in an accredited college or university.
      • QVC will consider students who have completed at least four semesters of college in a related field
      • Strong writing, editing, and communication skills & a command of spelling, grammar, and punctuation is desired
      • Strong attention to detail and an eye for consistency is a MUST.
      • Knowledge of the different writing styles required to appeal to different audiences across multiple platforms (web, print, mobile, online experience strongly preferred).
      • Must have a basic understanding of HTML, the capabilities of web browsers, and the constraints involved in designing/developing for online media
      • Basic working knowledge of HTML5, CSS3 and other Internet technologies is a plus
      • Should be able to effectively communicate technical information to a non-technical audience
      • Knowledge of Content Management systems is a plus (such as Adobe Experience Manager)
      • Able to comprehend complicated computer systems and work in a technical, dynamic workplace.
      • Excellent PC skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access.
      • Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with ever-changing priorities.
