  Purpose: The Corporate Accounting Director is a key member of the Corporate Accounting team and works closely together with our Treasury, Global Tax departments and manage the ANV Global Shared Services Centre finance teams to meet corporate deliverables. This candidate will be a strong multitasker and team player. You will also drive reliable financial outcomes from ERP systems, participate in finance transformation projects, support tax filing processes, and enable internal and external reporting. Lead and drive global deployment and adoption of process and ensuring harmonization of best practices.

  Responsibilities:

  The main responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:

  • Working closely with the Global Onshore reporting and Accounting Director and taking a collaborative role in managing the team, providing both leadership and technical guidance.
  • Drive standardized General Accounting processes and ensure control and alignment in best practices where possible to the wider Global Arcadis organisation.
  • Close working relationship with Group consolidation team on request and comments.
  • Responsible for day-to-day accounting (Oracle) for corporate (Holding) entities, supported by the GL-accounting team in Manilla, Philippines.
  • Substantiating balance sheet positions and reconcile subledgers.
  • Monthly closing process for corporate entities.
  • Monthly/quarterly reporting in OneStream global reporting system on actuals, plan and estimates (forecasting).
  • Ownership other local compliance reporting (e.g. DNB, CBS etc)
  • Ownership of Statutory Financial statements for corporate entities (Dutch-GAAP)
  • Support tax filing, analysing, reporting (VAT, CIT, WHT)
  • Support internal and external audits.
  • Oracle ERP control testing.
  • Key contact for the audit deliverables and request from Group auditors.
  • To engage in Global initiatives and take a lead in global finance forums as representative

  Qualifications and experience:

  • Degree in Accounting/Finance/ Chartered Qualification.
  • 8+ years’ experience in similar financial background
  • Current knowledge and understanding of accounting standards (IFRS, Dutch GAAP)
  • Financial controllership experience.
  • Current knowledge local (Dutch) tax regulations.
  • Demonstrated accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated organisational and time management skills.
  • Proactive and a committed team player.
  • Can work under pressure and minimal supervision.
  • Good English and Dutch language skills
  • Proven experience in Oracle Cloud, On is a plus.
  • Results oriented.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including ability to interact effectively with all levels throughout organization and build effective relationships.
  • Can work on flexible hours to meet changing work environment and to meet deadlines.
