      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Perform billing and collections functions for accounts receivable
      - Research, correct, and apply transactions related to cash applications
      - Maintain accurate accounts receivable records and follow up on claim status
      - Communicate requirements for billing and collection activity to ensure payer compliance
      - Prepare monthly reports for management and executives as needed

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - A four-year college degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business preferred
      - At least one to two years of experience in accounts receivable and collections
      - High school diploma or GED with three to four years of related experience is acceptable
      - Familiarity with computers and Windows applications
      - Valid driver's license and personal vehicle insurance coverage

      - Experience with denials and collections follow-up in a healthcare setting
      - Strong organizational and communication skills that foster teamwork
      - Ability to analyze and interpret financial data and regulations
      - Familiarity with coding, collections, and insurance practices
