What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Act as the owner's representative and project manager on capital improvement projects at various owned and managed commercial apartment properties
- Coordinate, oversee, and monitor the successful bidding, contracting, and completion of capital improvement projects
- Develop budgets and scopes of work from inspections of buildings during due diligence periods
- Conduct inspections of operating properties to assess 5-year capital needs and execute capital plans as needed
- Travel for due diligence, inspections, budgeting, and construction supervision as required
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Expert knowledge of construction and project management principles
- PMP certification
- 2-7 years of experience managing commercial renovation or construction projects; multifamily experience is a plus
- BS/BA in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or similar fields
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Proven ability to drive projects from inception and budgeting to successful completion
- Strong interpersonal skills and a highly motivated self-starter
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to meeting deadlines
