What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Draft, review, negotiate, and manage commercial agreements and related documents
- Advise leadership on associated risks and devise strategies to minimize them
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to negotiate favorable terms for commercial transactions
- Review RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs, making recommendations to protect the company’s interests
- Maintain accurate reports on contract status and deliverables
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited 4-year college
- Juris Doctor from an ABA accredited law school
- 0-3+ years of experience in contract drafting, negotiation, and/or management
- Membership in a State Bar as an attorney; qualified to practice law in the U.S.
- Good standing with the State Bar, including current state CLE requirements
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Certified Contract Manager (IACCM or NCMA certifications)
- Experience working in-house and negotiating commercial contracts
- Knowledge of technology and cybersecurity industries
- Experience with compliance and data privacy
- Experience in international negotiation
