You partner with Marketing teams and other internal stakeholders to execute strategy for the overall effectiveness and execution of various events.
You manage and execute event timelines, budgets and prepares ROI evaluations of events.
You work with internal/external resources to obtain needed materials and services for respective events.
You collaborate with exhibit house and internal partner(s) on design and build of booth space.
You partner with various associations, housing bureaus, show service suppliers, etc to execute events and logistics.
You work with 3rd Party logistics vendors and internal partner(s) on logistics needs for sales meetings and internal meetings and events.
You partner with external associations to maximize Roche’s presence at various industry events.
You coordinate and execute various customer facing events in conjunction with national conventions (workshops, customer dinners, etc).
You hold a Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience.
You have 5 years of industry-related experience managing large projects (participation in an approved accelerated development, fellowship or rotational program may be considered in lieu of experience)
You have Corporate Event Planning experience
You have experience working in a regulated industry
You have the ability to travel to conventions and other events (weekend travel is sometimes required)
You have excellent written and verbal communication skills
You demonstrated ability in prioritizing multiple projects that are smaller in scope
You have the ability to work independently, negotiate and influence diverse teams that may include senior management

The Opportunity:
The Corporate Events Manager is responsible for overall execution of Roche presence at national conventions and/or national sales/franchise meetings across our business areas. Partners with internal stakeholders to execute the business’ strategy for their respective events. Works with internal stakeholders to plan and execute internal events such as National Sales meetings and/or business area specific events. Manages the event budget as defined within the overall Customer Engagement budget. Partners with external resources such as exhibit house, production company and various industry associations to execute Roche events. Aligns with the customer engagement team to maximize customer interactions through our various touch points.
