What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead strategic business development initiatives to enhance the employer's presence in the Information Technology and Cyber Security sectors
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the Department of Defense (DoD)
- Develop and implement capture strategies that align with the employer’s growth objectives
- Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in DoD agencies
- Oversee the capture process from opportunity identification to contract award
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in business development and capture management, specifically within the DoD
- Proven track record of capturing contracts valued over $50 million
- Extensive experience in securing contracts in the Information Technology and Cyber Security domains
- Strong network of contacts within DoD and related industry sectors
- Must possess a Secret Clearance and be a U.S. Citizen
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field
- Proven ability to manage a business development pipeline valued at over $100 million
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and leadership skills
- Experience with capturing contracts from the U.S. Air Force, U.S. Navy, and Defense Information Systems Agency
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, competitive environment
