      Description

      Waterford.org seeks a Correlations Manager to lead a team in aligning our early learning curriculum with national, state, and local standards. Understanding of early learning needs, clearly explains standards, and thinks strategically. Oversee the creation of alignment documentation for contracts, grants, and more. This role will be responsible for resources that accurately document the depth and breadth of Waterford content. The perfect fit has deep literacy knowledge, classroom experience, and strong technical and writing skills. The candidate will manage content alignment based on research and feedback, identify areas for improvement, and support funding opportunities. This leader must have a track record of collaboration and effective implementation in education. Prioritize equity, ensure the curriculum is inclusive, and work closely with various teams to ensure curriculum development aligns with effective practices and standards. Reporting to the EVP of Curriculum & Instruction, this role involves supervising team members, conducting performance appraisals, and contributing directly to curriculum development. Collaboration and good judgment are essential, as is the ability to work closely with other teams.

      Responsibilities

      • Manage the OpenSALT skill database.

      • Maintain a library of correlation documentation (including playlists) for support of school and government relation opportunities.

      • Collaborate across teams to develop content

      • Assume day-to-day responsibility for the development of all correlation documentation and gap analysis related to standards.

      • Identify gaps and to align digital instruction with national and state standards.

      • Meticulous and detailed with the ability to manage ambiguous projects

      • Conduct performance appraisals.

      • Demonstrate a mature understanding of and willingness to work with the many partners involved in supporting the education of early learners and families.

      • Willingness to travel for team meetings or presentations several times per year.

      • Preferred familiarity with Google suite, OneDrive, Excel, Jira and Confluence

      • Collaborate on and contribute to organizational DEI efforts and goals

      • Continuously champion, promote, and advance diversity, equity, and inclusive excellence at Waterford.org

      Qualifications

      • Master's in Education

      • 5+ years of elementary teaching experience

      • Experience implementing technology programs in elementary or preschool classrooms.

      • Experience mentoring teachers and/or working with parents.

      • Experience aligning organizational content to national and state standards" and "demonstrated ability to create organizational playlists aligned to curriculum content

      • Proven record of collaboration and successful implementation management in the field of education.

      • Committed to equity in education and be able to use these values to ensure that the curriculum represents and is accessible to all children.

      • Demonstrates ability to present topics with clarity and passion, will collaborate with School Relations and Professional Services to support and develop resources, as well implementation to ensure positive results.

      • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

      • Ability to define, influence, refine, implement processes, procedures, and policies.

      • Excellent organizational and project management skills.

      • Background of standards, curriculum development, and the correlation process.

      Waterford.org team members are located across the United States and primarily work from home. We anticipate paying between $ 85,000 - $95,000 for this full time position based on the education, experience and skill level of the individual we hire. In addition to your base salary Waterford has an annual bonus program. We offer a phenomenal benefits package that includes fully paid primary premiums for health insurance, dental insurance, basic life insurance, and disability insurance.
