What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Analyze business challenges requiring strategic cost planning for new opportunities
- Develop innovative strategic cost initiatives and resolve complex design issues
- Provide and coordinate analytics for strategic costing initiatives
- Participate in cost strategy sessions and facilitate discussions with stakeholders
- Design and deploy methodologies to calculate patient-level costs in response to changing business requirements
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a relevant field
- Minimum of 8 years of cost accounting experience, preferably in a healthcare delivery organization
- At least 6 years of experience with cost accounting systems and analytics
- Proficiency with business intelligence tools and strong analytical skills
- Intermediate to expert MS Office skills, particularly in Excel, Access, and PowerPoint
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with leading cost accounting systems (e.g., EPSi, Oracle, Strata, etc.)
- Previous analytical experience in cost planning and finance within healthcare settings
- Strong business acumen combined with technical and financial knowledge
