Job Description

- Supervise and participate in the Count Room function, ensuring the integrity of the count and compliance with Gaming regulations.
- Distribute daily work assignments to Count Team.
- Perform all interviewing, hiring, scheduling, timekeeping and disciplinary functions for the Count Team and Vending personnel.
- Partner with the Cage Supervisors, Slot Supervisors and Casino Shift Managers in an effort to address problems as they arise.
- Ensure company equipment is properly maintained and the inventory of supplies is adequate.
- Act as liaison between the Count Room and all operating departments providing assistance when necessary.
- Investigate any reported variances or exceptions in order to effectively mitigate the risk of fraud.
- Must be flexible with their work schedule to attend meetings or conferences outside of their normal work hours.
- Ability to work in a fast pace environment when handling money and ensure accuracy.
- Drop and count ticket redemption machines and ATM’s as needed.
- Drop and count arcade revenue. Repair games as needed.
- Maintain all reports relating to other revenue areas such as Vending and Arcade.
- Maintain vending inventories and revenue when no vending attendant is available.
- Connect with vendors regarding equipment purchases and upkeep.
- Oversee the slot drop and all counts for all Gaming departments in compliance with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations of the Nevada Gaming Control Board.
- Ability to perform all Count Room functions.

- Ability to manage employees, training and coaching skills with evidence of developing exceptionally motivated teams.
- Knowledge of the standards of the Nevada Gaming Control Board pertaining to the drop and count process.
- Excellent analytical, problem solving, administrative, multi-tasking, organization and prioritization skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written), fluent English and articulate.
- Ability to work efficiently, independently and cohesively, consistently producing quality results.
- Computer literate in Microsoft Windows applications along with other company program required.
- Ability to use 10 key calculator.
- Must be able learn and be proficient in Bally’s CMP and SDS programs.
- Minimum age is 21.
- Must be able to obtain a Nevada Gaming Registration.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Five years’ experience in a count room environment with at least three years in supervisory position.
- Must possess basic mathematical skills to include ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide specific to position responsibilities.
- Ability to read and understand all policies and procedures.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with guests, employees, and members of management in English, specific to position duties and responsibilities.
- Must be able to complete standard forms and reports.

OverviewIt is the responsibility of the Count Manager to ensure that Nevada Gaming Regulations compliance are being met or exceeded as it relates to all Count Room Operations. It is also their responsibility to run the day to day operations and direct supervision of all activities within the Count Department.
