What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct and maintain credentialing processes for dental practitioners
- Analyze credentialing applications and communicate status updates to practitioners
- Perform primary source verification and manage recredentialing for eligible providers
- Act as a liaison with third-party payors to ensure accurate provider setup
- Maintain detailed records of all credentialing activities and communications
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
- 2-3 years of Dental or Medical Credentialing experience required
- Understanding of NCQA credentialing standards
- Demonstrated experience auditing and maintaining detailed complex credentialing records
- Proficient with Word and Excel, and credentialing software platforms
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- CPCS certification (preferred not required)
- Knowledge of dental insurance credentialing, ADA recommendations, CAQH Proview, and NPPES
- Ability to interpret and apply third-party payor credentialing requirements
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Experience in a fast-paced environment and ability to remain calm under pressure
