What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Review and analyze financial statements for complex borrowers and maintain loan request status updates
- Prepare detailed credit approval documents and assess financial projections to support lending decisions
- Conduct creditworthiness research using credit bureaus and financial sources
- Perform annual credit reviews, assign risk ratings, and ensure compliance with loan policies
- Collaborate with lenders to assess business operations and promote banking products and services
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a directly related field
- 2-4 years of previous related experience and/or training
- Developed analytical and critical thinking skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficient in conducting thorough research and effective communication
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Knowledge of Accounting Standards and experience working with tax returns
- Proven track record of managing complex situations and driving results
- Ability to build positive relationships across various levels and functions
