What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Collaborate with local educational institutions and emergency services to deliver coordinated crisis services
- Monitor and verify compliance of crisis provider services with contractual expectations
- Educate stakeholders on identifying mental illness warning signs and appropriate responses
- Support the development and improvement of crisis response systems and processes
- Provide 24-hour telephonic consultation coverage in rotation as assigned
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in Behavioral Health or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 5 years of related experience in crisis management or behavioral health
- Licensure as a Licensed Independent Substance Abuse Counselor (LISAC), Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW), or other relevant certifications preferred
- Specific licensure required for LA Healthcare Connections plan: LPC, LCSW, or LAC
- Strong analytical and communication skills to facilitate collaboration among various system partners
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Master's degree in Behavioral Health or Social Science
- Experience in crisis intervention and mental health services
- Knowledge of policies and procedures related to mental health referrals and services
- Proven ability to develop and implement training modules for stakeholders
- Experience in conducting root cause analyses and rapid cycle improvement processes
