What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide crisis intervention and emotional support to individuals in distress via phone, chat, and text
- Assess suicide risks, safety plan, and connect individuals to appropriate community resources
- Adhere to organization and NSPL protocols for crisis intervention
- Maintain accurate documentation of 988 caller information and dispositions
- Participate in trainings and staff meetings as required by National Suicide Prevention Lifeline/Vibrant recommendations

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's Degree or substantial experience in human services, OR volunteer experience at Crisis Connections
- Knowledge of King County Public Mental Health System
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to problem solve and work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team
- Strong verbal, written, and technical skills

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in suicide prevention, mental health, crisis de-escalation, or addiction services
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with clinical staff and paraprofessionals
