      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Create templated static maps for technical cultural reports using geospatial software
      - Process archaeological field data to produce compliant primary record site sketches and location maps
      - Maintain and interpret geospatial vector data in various file formats
      - Update and manage ArcGIS online maps according to established procedures
      - Collaborate with team members to meet fast-paced project deadlines

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - 2+ years of experience in archaeology or a related field
      - BA/BS Degree or Technical Certificate in GIS with relevant work experience
      - Proficiency in geospatial software such as Arc Map, Arc Pro, and QGIS
      - Understanding of cartographic principles and database management
      - Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical personnel

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience with cultural survey reports and extracting spatial data from site records
      - Familiarity with environmental review fields such as land planning and biology
      - Exposure to tools like Google Earth Pro, Arc Collector, and Survey 123
      - Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite
      - Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage complex projects efficiently
