What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide quality service and support for insurance-related inquiries via inbound phone calls
- Handle first notices of loss for group life, disability, and absence claims
- Interact with internal and external business partners, including insureds and claimants
- Meet established departmental quality, service, and productivity objectives
- Prepare documents and communications using established formats and standard software
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 6 months of contact center or customer service experience, or equivalent education and experience
- Proficiency with Windows-based software applications and MS Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities
- Data entry skills and ability to navigate multiple operating systems
- Availability for mandatory 6-week training, Monday to Friday, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm EST
