What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Build and maintain key relationships with customers and vendors in a field-based aftermarket sales management role
- Oversee day-to-day activities of the Customer Service Representative team to ensure service and parts sales align with profitability goals
- Develop account plans with Customer Service Representatives for key accounts and achieve annual aftermarket goals
- Forecast and manage annual service contract growth and commodity sales events
- Recruit, train, develop, and coach direct reports to enhance team performance
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 10 years of direct customer sales or service experience in the forklift aftermarket parts business
- BA or BS degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or Economics, or equivalent experience
- Product knowledge in aftermarket parts and general sales knowledge of the forklift and material handling market
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel
- Strong work ethic, dedication, and self-motivation to learn and solve problems
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with OEM or appropriate dealership in the forklift aftermarket parts business
- Proven ability to establish and maintain dealer account confidence
- Strong background in managing field sales teams and achieving sales targets
