What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Handle incoming calls to address member and patient inquiries regarding eligibility, prescription benefits, and payment issues
- Assist with updating billing information and establishing payment plans for patients
- Resolve payment inquiries and manage patient scheduling needs
- Provide quality service and ensure customer satisfaction through effective communication
- Conduct research and resolution of telephone inquiries to enhance service delivery
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience
- High School Diploma required
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in a healthcare setting or with health insurance
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Bilingual capabilities to assist a diverse patient population
- Familiarity with patient scheduling systems
- Previous experience in a call center environment
