What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Handle incoming calls to address member eligibility, plan prescription benefits, and claim payment issues
- Assist patients with updating billing information, establishing payment plans, and scheduling appointments
- Provide quality service and ensure customer satisfaction through effective communication and education
- Research and resolve inquiries from members or patients regarding their services
- Maintain accurate data entry related to customer interactions
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of two years of customer service experience
- Previous data entry experience
- Prior scheduling experience
- Experience in a high-volume call center preferred
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in healthcare customer service
- Familiarity with claims processing or insurance verification
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Bilingual skills are a plus
