What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding insurance benefits, provider contracts, eligibility, and claims in a professional manner
- Analyze and resolve customer service issues while documenting outcomes for tracking and analysis
- Operate necessary systems to obtain and extract information for customer inquiries
- Develop and maintain positive customer relations, coordinating with various functions within the company
- Identify inefficiencies in processes and suggest improvements to enhance service delivery
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School diploma or GED
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in customer service within a call center environment
- Good communication and telephone skills with a clear speaking voice
- Proficient written communication skills and ability to navigate multiple software systems
- Fluent in English (oral and written); bilingual in Spanish preferred
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Knowledge of health benefits and eligibility
- Moderate computing and keyboarding skills, including database management
- Ability to adapt to a constantly changing environment
- Experience in creating and documenting Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Proven track record of initiating and implementing process improvements
