What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Answer daily telephone calls from members, providers, health plans, and other stakeholders
- Collect and document information from members/providers regarding their concerns and statuses
- Verify authorizations, claims, eligibility, and status
- Assist with member appointment scheduling and resolve walk-in member concerns
- Maintain strict confidentiality and provide quality service to customers
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or GED
- One year of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience using Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Fluency in Spanish
- Previous experience working in customer service
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous work experience in a healthcare setting
