What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Review and analyze license applications submitted through various platforms, ensuring compliance with state regulations
- Respond to telephone and email inquiries regarding departmental policies and application statuses
- Enter and maintain data in the department's database and the Nationwide Multi-state Licensing System (NMLS)
- Assist applicants with the submission of various license applications, providing guidance on required documentation
- Prepare and update policies and procedures for internal use in processing licensing submissions
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 2 years of work experience in customer service and/or insurance
- Considerable knowledge of the Nationwide Multi-state Licensing System (NMLS)
- Strong analytical skills and ability to evaluate complex applications
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Proficiency in various computer software applications at an advanced level

- Comprehensive understanding of legal documents related to licensing, such as credit reports and surety bonds
- Experience working in a team environment with a commitment to quality customer service
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously
