What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Research and respond to customer inquiries by accessing various systems and informational sources
- Handle customer/group and provider questions through telephone and written communication
- Adhere to quality standards for call handling and written inquiries
- Review subscriber coverage to determine benefit types and levels
- Manage documentation tasks including sorting, copying, distributing, and filing claims and messages
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of one year of experience in a customer service business environment
- Advanced communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Ability to use multiple computer applications simultaneously
- Successful completion of Customer Service Simulation test and dental training course
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Prior customer service experience, particularly in a call center setting
- Knowledge of personal computing and Windows-based software applications
