Job Responsibilities:
- Answer incoming calls and provide information on Optum Salt Lake County Behavioral Health Providers, services in Salt Lake County, and Medicaid benefit plans
- Research and provide referrals to providers/agencies in Salt Lake County for Medicaid eligible consumers
- Utilize computer database to verify Medicaid eligibility
- Provide additional information such as phone numbers or addresses to individuals who have contacted the wrong organization
- Complete administrative tasks to support the Care Coordination team
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma / GED (or higher)
- 2+ years of Customer Service experience in insurance, medical, behavioral health, or financial technology
- Familiarity with computer applications and ability to learn new and complex systems
- Ability to work full-time, Sunday - Saturday between 7:00am – 10:00pm CST, with occasional overtime as needed
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with Financial Health Technology
- Understanding of multiple services and benefit plans for Medicaid

- Ability to keep company sensitive documents secure
- Dedicated work area that provides information privacy
- Availability of high-speed internet connection
Soft Skills:
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to multi-task
Additional Information:
- Salary range for California / Colorado / Connecticut / Nevada / New Jersey / New York / Washington / Rhode Island residents is $18.80 - $36.78, based on factors such as education, work experience, and certifications
