What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide seamless customer service support to end users regarding cybersecurity issues
- Conduct information security reviews, scans, and vulnerability assessments of systems
- Collaborate with IT teams to address and mitigate vulnerabilities proactively
- Recommend and support the implementation of HIPAA and PHI/PII security measures
- Engage with external vendors and auditors to improve overall security posture
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Healthcare Information Technology, or a relevant field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT, information security, or cyber risk management
- At least 3 years of experience with vulnerability scanning and reporting assessment tools
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with problem-solving ability
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in incident response troubleshooting and remediation
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with NIST frameworks
- Relevant information security-related certifications such as CISSP, CISA, or CISM
- Healthcare-related work experience
- Familiarity with attack and exploitation techniques involving various systems
- Knowledge of Office 365 and Azure Security concepts
