      Job Description:
      As a Cybersecurity Analyst, you will support in delivering secure, reliable IT services to all divisions and offices of the client. This role requires a hands-on professional experienced in managing and monitoring cybersecurity tools, identifying and responding to threats, conducting internal assessments, and ensuring compliance with security frameworks. The analyst will work closely with stakeholders across the organization to support, enhance, and align the client's cybersecurity posture with strategic business needs and regulatory requirements.

      Key Responsibilities:
      • Monitor, manage, and respond to threats using SIEM, IDS/IPS, CrowdStrike EDR, DLP, and Tenable vulnerability scanners
      • Maintain, configure, and operate the CrowdStrike platform, including alert triage and threat hunting
      • Analyze multi-source data to support security operations, planning, and intelligence collection
      • Conduct internal risk, vulnerability, and compliance assessments, and recommend remediation actions
      • Coordinate the collection and production of audit evidence for internal and external audits
      • Prepare and maintain incident response plans and execute incident response procedures as needed
      • Monitor and review system audit logs to detect and report anomalies or security incidents
      • Implement security measures to protect data and systems across Windows and Linux environments
      • Collaborate with developers and system owners to integrate secure design and controls
      • Develop and manage POA&Ms to track and remediate security risks and weaknesses
      • Advise on best practices and strategies for protecting and monitoring data in transit and at rest
      • Communicate security program updates and project statuses to leadership through reports and presentations
      • Support and develop security awareness training materials and initiatives
      • Develop and report cybersecurity metrics to assess policy effectiveness and control compliance
      • Participate in cross-functional coordination of cybersecurity services across business units
      Required Skills, Experiences, Education, and Competencies:
      • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Assurance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
      • Minimum 5 years of IT experience, including at least 1 year in information security or assurance
      • Proficient with Tenable vulnerability scanning tools (Nessus, Tenable.sc, Tenable.io)
      • Hands-on experience with CrowdStrike EDR, SIEM, IDS/IPS, and DLP platforms
      • Strong understanding of Windows and Linux server administration, patching, and hardening
      • Familiarity with incident response, log analysis, and audit compliance processes
      • Demonstrated experience conducting security risk and vulnerability assessments
      • Ability to communicate technical content to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
      • Strong understanding of federal, state, and local security and compliance requirements
      • Ability to develop security documentation including POA&Ms, incident reports, and training materials
      Preferred Qualifications:
      • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
      • Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
      • Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
      • Experience aligning security strategies with business goals and regulatory frameworks

      The hourly range for roles of this nature are $60.00 to $90.00/hr. Rates are heavily dependent on skills, experience, location, and industry.
