What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Monitor, manage, and respond to cybersecurity threats using various tools such as SIEM and CrowdStrike EDR
- Conduct internal risk, vulnerability, and compliance assessments, recommending actions for remediation
- Prepare and maintain incident response plans and execute necessary procedures
- Collaborate with developers and system owners to ensure secure design and controls are integrated
- Communicate updates on security programs and project statuses to leadership through reports and presentations

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Assurance, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 5 years of IT experience, with at least 1 year in information security or assurance
- Proficiency with Tenable vulnerability scanning tools (Nessus, Tenable.sc, Tenable.io)
- Hands-on experience with CrowdStrike EDR, SIEM, IDS/IPS, and DLP platforms
- Strong understanding of Windows and Linux server administration, patching, and hardening

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
- Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
- Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
- Experience aligning security strategies with business goals and regulatory frameworks
