What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Research, evaluate, and develop policies related to new technologies for the Department of the Air Force (DAF)
- Implement artificial intelligence and other technologies across the Air Force enterprise
- Provide recommendations for technology integration based on comprehensive analysis and risk assessment
- Support cybersecurity initiatives, including Data Analytics and Risk Management Framework (RMF) implementation
- Ensure compliance with federal laws and regulations regarding cybersecurity requirements
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in information security or a related role
- Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Required certification: DoD Approved 8570 IAM Level III certification (CISSP and/or CAP)
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Master's degree in Information Security, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field
- Experience with the Risk Management Framework (RMF) and NIST Cybersecurity Framework
- Familiarity with military or government operations
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
