What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Oversee and maintain data quality at the Defense Manpower Data Center (DMDC)
- Use SQL and PL/SQL scripts to investigate and resolve data quality issues
- Generate recurring and ad-hoc reports for data trend analysis
- Conduct user acceptance testing of team-owned applications
- Collaborate on shared documentation and identify areas for improvement
What is Required (Qualifications):
- US Citizenship
- Ability to obtain DMDC Position of Trust security clearance
- BA/BS in computer science, information systems, or a related field
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in data analysis or a related role
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous experience with large and complex databases/datasets
- Experience with the Department of Defense (DoD) or Defense Manpower Data Center (DMDC)
- Self-driven with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects
