What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop and maintain complex SQL and/or Python queries for data retrieval and summarization
- Create and validate analytical reports, dashboards, and visual analytics using tools like Power BI and Tableau
- Collaborate with various teams to define metrics and performance indicators aligned with organizational goals
- Perform data validation and reconciliation to ensure accuracy of data across systems
- Assist in the development of automated data pipelines and quality checks in collaboration with data engineers
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum educational requirement: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative discipline
- 2 years of experience in healthcare, statistics, data science, reporting and analytics, or public health
- 1 year of experience in SQL (preferably T-SQL) and Python scripting
- 1 year of experience with Power BI or Tableau
- Hands-on experience with healthcare data analysis can substitute for specific fields of study
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- 1 year of experience in report development within Epic EMR using Clarity, Caboodle, SlicerDicer, or Reporting Workbench
- Familiarity with healthcare claims processing including billing codes
- Experience using statistical analysis software such as SAS or R
- 1 year of experience in an Azure/Snowflake environment
