What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Analyze and interpret data from multiple sources to influence business decisions and improve clinical outcomes
- Support the execution of large-scale projects with minimal direction from leadership
- Conduct root-cause analysis of data irregularities and present findings to stakeholders
- Manage multiple tasks and data review processes within targeted timelines
- Communicate data-driven insights and recommendations to internal and external stakeholders
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in business, economics, statistics, mathematics, actuarial science, public health, health informatics, healthcare administration, finance, or a related field
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience working with large databases, data verification, and data management, or 1+ years IT experience
- Working knowledge of SQL/query languages
- Preferred knowledge of programmatic coding languages such as Python and R
- Familiarity with claims payment, utilization management, provider/vendor contracts, and risk adjustment for government-sponsored healthcare
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in healthcare analytics
- Knowledge of statistical, analytical, or data mining techniques including basic data modeling and trend analysis
- Understanding of modern business intelligence and visualization tools
- Experience in emerging trend analysis, financial modeling, claims pricing, contract/network analysis, and/or ROI evaluation
