What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Analyze and interpret data from various sources to assess business trends and impacts
- Develop and troubleshoot complex scripts and reports using SQL and Excel
- Participate in the planning and execution of large-scale projects with minimal direction
- Conduct root-cause analysis of data irregularities and present findings to leadership
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior analysts
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in business, economics, statistics, mathematics, or related field; Master's degree preferred
- Minimum of 4 years of experience with large databases and data management, or 2 years of IT experience
- Proficiency in SQL and querying languages
- Experience in healthcare analytics preferred
- Strong analytical skills and ability to communicate findings to non-technical partners
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Python and R
- Familiarity with statistical and data mining techniques, including trend analysis
- Experience with business intelligence tools like Microsoft PowerBI
- Background in financial modeling and claims pricing analysis
- Understanding of risk adjustment for government-sponsored healthcare
