What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Analyze practice data and build models to support veterinary practices
- Gather requirements from non-technical stakeholders and explain analyses to diverse audiences
- Optimize SQL queries for performance in large databases
- Design and create custom data models tailored to specific tasks
- Visualize data findings using Looker for stakeholder presentations
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 3+ years of experience as an analyst, statistician, or similar role (including internships or co-ops)
- 3+ years of experience with SQL
- Proficiency in programming languages or packages for data analysis (Python, R, etc.)
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Looker, Tableau, or PowerBI
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Background in sales, marketing, business, veterinary medicine, or finance
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Management, or Statistics
