- Instruct students in the use of GIS software for crime mapping and spatiotemporal analysis (ICA-220).
- Facilitate hands-on practice with spreadsheet, visualization, and network-analysis software (ICA-230).
- Teach foundational research design and statistical methods for intelligence (ICA-200).
- Evaluate student ability to mitigate bias in AI-supported analytic outputs.
- Integrate ethical stewardship and biblical worldview principles into the use of advanced technologies. - (Essential)
- Education/Professional Credentials/License: Doctorate or Master's level with a minimum of 18 graduate semester hours in Data Science, Statistics, Geography/GIS, or Intelligence Analysis.
- Work Experience: 3-5 years of experience as a Crime Analyst, Intelligence Analyst, or Data Scientist, with specific proficiency in ArcGIS/QGIS and social network analysis tools.
- Skills: Advanced proficiency in GIS, statistical software (SPSS/R/Excel), and AI-assisted analytic workflows.
- Demonstrated knowledge of online educational delivery tools.
- Demonstrated teaching abilities.
- Demonstrated higher education experience.
- Demonstrated proficiency in using Microsoft products.
- Demonstrated knowledge of adult learners
- Demonstrated a commitment to building and cultivating diversity through leadership, teaching and/or service.

Summary of Position: Adjunct faculty will facilitate courses focused on the technical and quantitative competencies required for modern intelligence and crime analysis. This includes teaching research design, statistical analysis, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), and the application of Artificial Intelligence in data visualization and social network analysis.
