What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Support software applications used in the management of GIS-based asset registries
- Create complex spatial and tabular visualizations and reports using GIS and Cityworks data
- Conduct statistical analysis using business data and develop spatial database tables
- Mentor and review the work of team members to foster growth and collaboration
- Lead and facilitate project meetings, identifying risks and dependencies
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Associate's degree in Geography, GIS, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
- Minimum of three years of relevant experience, preferably within a water utility
- Knowledge of ESRI ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Server, and Trimble Cityworks
- Ability to develop and maintain scripts using Python and PSQL for task automation
- Experience using SQL Developer, TOAD, SQLPlus, and other diagramming tools
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience leading GIS, asset management, and governance projects
- Ability to conduct advanced data analysis (spatial and tabular)
- Knowledge of geodatabase versioning workflows
- Familiarity with publishing services using ArcGIS Server
- Demonstrated willingness to embrace changing technology landscapes
