What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Partner with business stakeholders to document data definitions, business logic, and governance rules
- Collaborate with Snowflake Engineers to implement data quality controls
- Monitor data quality controls to ensure compliance with established standards
- Evaluate enterprise datasets to identify inconsistencies and opportunities to enhance data integrity
- Translate business rules into technical specifications and enforce them consistently
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Proficiency in SQL for querying and analyzing data across complex data models
- Strong critical thinking skills for identifying data inconsistencies and root causes
- Excellent stakeholder-facing communication skills
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a shared data governance vision
- High attention to detail for validating logic and detecting discrepancies
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Familiarity with Snowflake data warehouse structures and features
- Ability to use Python for data validation, profiling, and automation
- Experience with data governance tools such as metadata management platforms
- Understanding of data quality concepts, including data profiling and anomaly detection
